One Wall Street Debuts As A Residential Tower
Built in 1931 as the headquarters of Irving Trust commercial bank and then Bank Of New York Mellon Corporation, One Wall Street, an Art Deco masterpiece designed by Ralph Walker, is launching as a 50 story residential skyscraper. The eight year renovation was realized by developer Macklowe Properties. The 566 unit condo building currently has residences available for sale ranging from a $1.28 million studio to a $12.75 million four bedroom. The project offers 170 different apartment layouts. A triplex penthouse with 35 ft ceilings has yet to be priced.
